Department: Local Partnerships Team
Location: Yangon
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Negotiable Salary + Performance-Based Incentives
Elevate Education is a fast-growing international education company helping Myanmar students access quality education opportunities abroad.
Our mission is to help students see a bigger future and feel closer to it.
As we continue expanding across Myanmar, we are building a strong nationwide network of partner schools and education institutions. We are looking for ambitious, commercially driven people who can open doors, build trusted relationships and turn partnerships into measurable results.
As an Education Partnership Executive – Business Development (B2B), you will be responsible for actively developing Elevate’s network of schools and education partners.
You will spend significant time in the field—finding new schools, reaching decision-makers, securing meetings, visiting partners and developing new markets across Myanmar.
Your partnership journey will look like:
Identify Prospects → Reach Decision-Makers → Secure Meetings → Present Elevate → Establish Partnerships → Build Relationships → Generate Student Referrals → Grow Partner Performance
Research and identify potential partner schools, education institutions and other relevant organizations.
Proactively approach and acquire new partners rather than relying only on existing relationships or incoming opportunities.
Connect with school owners, principals, administrators and other key decision-makers.
Secure and conduct face-to-face meetings to professionally present Elevate and potential partnership opportunities.
Negotiate and establish new partnerships in line with company requirements.
Build trusted, long-term relationships with partner schools and key stakeholders.
Conduct regular school visits and maintain active engagement with existing partners.
Develop partner schools into productive and sustainable student-referral channels.
Work with schools to organize student talks, workshops, seminars, counseling sessions, school events and other education activities.
Maintain disciplined and consistent follow-up with prospective and existing partners.
Monitor partner performance and identify opportunities to increase student referrals, applications and enrollments.
Maintain accurate records of prospects, meetings, school visits, partnership status, activities and results.
Gather market intelligence on schools, competitors, local education trends and potential partnership opportunities.
Work closely with the Global Student Success Team, Marketing and other teams to turn partnership opportunities into student enrollments.
Perform other reasonable responsibilities assigned by Management or the relevant Team Head.
This is a performance-driven business development role.
You will be expected to achieve clearly defined individual KPIs covering areas such as:
New partner schools acquired
New prospective schools developed
Meetings with school decision-makers
School visits
Partner engagement and activities
Student referrals
Applications and enrollments generated through partnerships
Growth and performance of assigned partner schools
We are looking for people who take ownership of results—not simply people who complete activities.
Domestic business travel is a major part of this position.
Travel to Mandalay, Taunggyi, Nay Pyi Taw, Mawlamyine, Pyay and other target cities for school visits and partnership development.
Business trips may require staying in another city for several consecutive days or approximately one week.
During city assignments, systematically visit targeted schools, meet decision-makers, present Elevate, follow up with prospects and develop the local partnership network.
Travel frequency, destination and duration will depend on business priorities and market-development plans.
Participate in Annual Education Fairs, workshops, seminars, school events, city events and other partnership/student-recruitment activities.
Some activities and business trips may take place on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays depending on school and event schedules.
Prepare clear visit plans and maintain accurate records of meetings, follow-ups and outcomes.
Candidates must be comfortable with frequent domestic business travel and staying outside Yangon for several days or up to approximately one week when required.
Candidates with stronger experience and demonstrated performance may be considered directly for the Senior Education Partnership Executive – Business Development (B2B) level.
Senior candidates should demonstrate:
Strong track record in B2B client acquisition, partnership development or business development.
Consistent achievement of individual KPIs or sales targets.
Proven ability to independently build a new-business pipeline.
Strong presentation, persuasion and negotiation capability.
Ability to develop strategically important partner relationships.
Ability to independently plan and execute market-development activities and business trips.
Ability to support and guide junior team members when required.
Position level will be determined based on demonstrated capability and performance—not simply years of experience.
We are particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds in:
B2B Sales | Business Development | Partnership Development | Account Management | Institutional Sales | Field Sales | Education Sales
Candidates should have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
Relevant experience in B2B sales, business development, partnerships, account management or another target-driven client-facing role.
Proven ability to prospect, approach and acquire new clients or partners rather than only managing existing accounts.
Confidence approaching organizations and communicating with owners, principals, managers and senior decision-makers.
Strong presentation, persuasion, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Experience working toward measurable sales or business-development KPIs.
Strong follow-up discipline and ability to manage a B2B pipeline systematically.
Proactive, persistent and results-oriented mindset.
Resilience and willingness to continue developing opportunities after rejection.
Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with the team.
Strong planning, organization and reporting skills.
Willingness to travel frequently and stay in other cities when required.
Availability for selected weekend and public-holiday activities when required.
Ability to maintain accurate prospect, meeting, partnership and performance records.
Ability to work effectively with Global Student Success, Marketing and other internal teams.
Previous education-sector experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
Strong B2B performers from other industries who can demonstrate new-client acquisition, relationship development and target achievement are encouraged to apply.
You may be a particularly strong fit if you are comfortable making the first approach. You know how to research prospects, reach decision-makers, secure meetings, present a business proposition, follow up persistently and turn a new relationship into a productive long-term partnership.
We can teach you Elevate’s education services, university portfolio and partnership model. We are looking for people who already bring the drive, initiative, communication ability and persistence required to develop business.
For Senior Executive consideration, candidates should demonstrate stronger B2B performance, independent pipeline development, strategic relationship management and the ability to support junior team members.
